Proctor, MN — Proctor Public Schools is excited to host its All-Sport and Activity Kick-Off on Wednesday, July 30, from 6:00–8:00 PM at the Aspirus St. Luke’s Event Center in Proctor. This important and engaging event is open to all incoming 7th–12th grade students and their parents or guardians, and serves as the official launch to the 2025–2026 extracurricular season.
Attendees will enjoy an evening filled with helpful information, community connection, and some exciting extras:
The Loose Caboose food truck will be on-site offering a variety of delicious dinner options for purchase.
Each student and parent/guardian in attendance will receive a raffle ticket—and at the end of the night, five lucky winners will receive one waived activity fee (up to $225 value) for a sport or activity of their choice.
Play It Again Sports will have new and gently used sports equipment available for purchase—perfect for gearing up for the season ahead.
Staff will be available to provide hands-on assistance with registration for both high school and middle school sports and activities.
In addition to food and vendors, several resources and experts will be available:
Sign-ups for sports physicals will be available. Aspirus St. Luke’s is offering $25 physicals on August 4—quick and convenient 15–20 minute appointments.
PHS Athletic Trainer Evan Dewald will be on hand to answer questions about injury prevention and care.
Strength and Conditioning Coach Tony Radloff will be present to discuss training programs available to Rails athletes throughout the year.
Representatives from the City of Proctor will be available to share updates and answer questions about the new development along Kirkus Street, including plans for an indoor turf dome with basketball, volleyball, pickleball, softball, and soccer capabilities.
All Proctor High School coaches and activity advisors will be present to answer questions, share information, and help students discover ways to get involved in sports, fine arts, and co-curriculars.
“This event is a great way to kick off the year and ensure that families are informed, connected, and excited about the many opportunities available to our students,” said Jeff Gunderson, Activities Director at Proctor High School. “We want every student—whether they’re entering 7th grade or heading into their senior year—to feel welcome and ready to participate.”
